The Holidays have officially kicked off and everywhere around the world couples are preparing to pop the question! Professionals in the wedding industry call this time of year engagement season. The holiday cheer and merry celebrations set the scene for a perfect engagement as friends and family gather together for festivities.
With nearly 40 percent of marriage proposals happening from Thanksgiving to Valentines day it’s more important than ever to think about when and where you want your wedding day to happen. Venues will begin to book quickly now so if you have a definite date in mind you'll want to make that venue decision sooner rather than later.
Reasons to secure your venue NOW
Spring, Summer & Fall are very popular months in the great Pacific Northwest. Out of state couples are looking for that epic natural backdrop and know they need to book early to secure the prime time dates with the best weather. We also see a major increase in tourism throughout those months making accomodations even more difficult to find unless you plan ahead.
All that combined with a massive influx of new couples moving to the area makes for a larger demand of our already limited available dates. Spring and Fall dates are already filling up! Now is also a great time to give your guests a great vacation idea (an incredible trip to the PNW to celebrate you!) as they are most likely dreaming about warmer weather.
And let's not forget about your vendor team! It's a bit of a challenge to book catering, florists, bar etc. without a venue being secured. We have heard from many of our Favorite Vendors that 2023 dates are already filling quickly. Once you secure your venue, you can book your amazing vendor team and enjoy the rest of the planning journey in peace knowing you have the best of the best showing up on your big day.
*Important* Winter Tours 101
With a blanket of snow already covering the venue (ehhemm... more like 3+ feet with more on the way!), your best true look at a wedding day with us will be from videos and photos. It can be a bit difficult to truly imagine what your wedding day could look like when everything is white and frozen. The good news is, we just launched our 2023 Winter Tour Experience! This starts with a virtual self guided tour and is followed by an on-site tour either virtually or in person. With zoom and facetime we can save you the drive if you'd like to see the venue in a blanket of white without experiencing the frigid (sometimes negative degree) temperatures. After a tour if you've decided we'd be a perfect fit for your big day (yay!) our Booking page makes it easy to reserve your date and begin the process with us. We're in the planning stages of our 2023 Open House Events so keep an eye out for those and make your reservation asap! These events happen frequently throughout the months of March - October and are a great way to visit the venue for engagement photos and planning on site. Bring family and friends to view the venue and don't forget to pack a picnic and soak in the view while you're here. We'll have light refreshments available and hopefully some fun activities too.
